Our basic futon is an 11 cm thick cotton bed mattress with a PU foam core. By applying 5-10% polyester to our cotton, we ensure the higher density and thickness of our futons compared to traditional Japanese futon bedding. However, it still inherits all the good qualities of a traditional Japanese futon. The Basic futon will give you medium-firm sleeping comfort. The cotton in the futon will adjust itself to your body and support it, and the foam core will isolate slight movements.
