What Holds Us: Environment, Boundaries & The Heart A Deen Creative Experience Join us for a meaningful afternoon of pottery painting and reflection as we explore the influences that shape our hearts, thoughts and daily lives. Through guided discussions, personal reflection and a creative pottery painting activity, participants will be invited to examine the environments they immerse themselves in, the relationships they nurture, and the boundaries they establish to protect their well-being and faith. Drawing from the Islamic concepts of Qalb (the Heart), Suhbah (Companionship) and the Influence of Environment, this session offers a gentle space to pause, create and reconnect with what truly nourishes the soul. In this session, participants will: • Reflect on how relationships and environments influence their thoughts, emotions and behaviours • Explore the heart (qalb) as a vessel that requires intentional care and protection • Identify personal sources of nourishment, support and spiritual growth • Express their reflections through the creative process of pottery painting No prior artistic experience is required. All materials will be provided. Come as you are, and leave with a painted keepsake and a renewed perspective on what you allow to fill your heart.
