Vintage Children's Book of "The Little Mermaid" the famous fairytale by Hans Christian Andersen, published by Disney. This is the classic Disney version of 'The Little Mermaid' after the cartoon that so many of us remember from childhood and that is pretty much an iconic version of this beloved old fairytale about the brave little mermaid who falls in love with a prince. In the original story she was just 'The Little Mermaid' Disney created the wonderful version of the beautiful red-headed Ariel and Eric the prince and of course her cute little friend Flounder the fish. Hans Andersen first wrote this heartwarming classic children's story in 1837 and it has enchanted children, especially little girls ever since. This sweet vintage children's book dating from the 1990's. Slightly larger than the standard Ladybird book size this glossy book authorised by Disney is the first American Edition published by Grolier in 1993. This vintage children's book is in perfect condition with bright glossy boards and crisp pages with no other ownership names. It would make a lovely little gift to be read again as a favourite children's bedtime story.
