I've also given these a bit of a tune up! I've removed the varnish from the handle, removed the shoulder of the handle, given the handle a black stain and some personalisation and a coat of food safe linseed oil This is now a bonified carving axe ready to carve spoons! *I do not recommend buying one from a shop unless you have learnt how to sharpen tools or have come on one of my sharpening workshops!
