ENABLE ART FIBER ART WORKSHOP Youth & Adult | Ages 12-Adult July 20-23 (Monday–Thursday) | 3-5pm In this hands-on fiber art workshop, artists will explore two exciting wool techniques: wet felting and needle felting. Throughout the camp, students will learn the foundations of both methods and how artists use wool fibers to create texture, color, and dimension. We will begin by learning the wet felting process, layering and agitating wool fibers to create beautiful felted surfaces and backgrounds. Students will also learn needle felting techniques, using felting needles to sculpt shapes, add details, and build texture. After learning the techniques of both mediums, artists will design and create a final wall art piece that combines wet felting and needle felting. This finished project will be mounted on a frame, creating a unique fiber artwork that is ready to hang and display. This workshop is perfect for beginners as well as artists who are excited to explore the creative possibilities of working with wool.
