Vegetable Glycerine

Glycerine is a skin-friendly humectant that attracts moisture to the skin and acts as a binding ingredient naturally found in vegetables. It is a sweet, syrupy alcohol that has been used in cosmetics for hundreds of years as a solvent, humectant, emollient, and lubricant. Although it is still widely used today, glycerine is increasingly being replaced by its cheaper counterpart, sorbitol. Caution: For external use only. Discontinue use if signs of irritation appear.
