Fulgora laternaria

Fulgora laternaria, also known as the flying lanternfly or lantern cicada, is an insect belonging to the family Fulgoridae. It is mainly present in tropical regions of Central and South America, especially in countries such as Peru, Ecuador and Colombia. It is sold with its airtight glass box to hang, black frame on a white background. Each specimen is identified (Latin name and origin) on a calligraphed label.
