Art Deco Platinum Diamond Ring
This vintage Art Deco three-stone ring, circa 1920, is set in platinum with a cushion-shaped old mine cut diamond of approximately 0.95 carats at the center. Two matching cushion-shaped old mine cut diamonds flank the center stone, with a combined approximate weight of 1.30 carats, for a total diamond weight of about 2.25 carats. The design features open-back claw settings, an intricately pierced gallery with circular open backholing, and inwardly tapering shoulders with chenier detail leading to a solid D-shape shank. Ring size is US 5.5 and it can be resized; the piece is marked platinum and engraved “R357.”
