Now, on to why this shade is worth having… This parachute lampshade is pure glamour. Think Art Deco drawing rooms, antique brass fittings and the warm glow of a Jazz Age speakeasy. Deep forest-green super-soft velvet meets a generously deep double layer of swishy antique-gold fringe, finished with matching braid. Fittings - This lampshade has a duplex fitting which can be used on a lamp or a ceiling light. It will be supplied with a shade carrier for a lamp as standard. However, please let me know if you want to use the shade on a ceiling light, and I will supply the alternative fitting free of charge. Safety/Bulbs – To reduce environmental impact, lampshades are not routinely treated with flame-retardant chemicals, although this is available on request.
