According to myth, it was Gaia—the Mother Earth—who protected Sykéus by transforming him into a fig tree: thus was born a sacred and powerful symbol of fertility and rebirth. A woody-green fragrance, intense and vital, blending the sweet, creamy nuances of coconut and peach with the fresh, vegetal notes of galbanum and green leaves. At its heart, fig—the emblem of the island—is joined by ivy and cedarwood. In the base, the resinous sweetness of benzoin meets the elegance of violet and hyacinth, creating a deep and sensual trail.
