During development, the attachment point was intentionally adjusted slightly beyond the default seam to improve compatibility with the body shapes and popular clothing meshes available at the time. This helped reduce visible gaps and clipping when used with a wider range of pants and avatar shapes. While this means the ankle seam is not a 100% exact match to the default IMVU body, it was a deliberate design choice made for broader compatibility rather than strict vertex alignment. It's also important to note that IMVU's default body for the foot/ ankle is not perfectly symmetrical. So neither is the mesh.
