Still rooted in the band’s psych-punk and space rock spirit, this one feels especially open-hearted. Songs like Plant Magic, Basic Witch with Seth Bogart, Message From the Venus Flower, and I Love You turn grief into connection, with girl-group harmonies, communal chants, and a children’s chorus adding warmth and lift. The album was shaped by Bailey Chapman, Laena Myers, Alana Amram, Sarah Safaie, and Gregg Foreman, whose passing makes this his final recording with the band.
