Gerry Hillman - October in the Beechwood

Frame size: 75cm x 105cm Medium: oil Growing up in Cornwall, Gerry had no formal training in fine art, though he always enjoyed drawing and painting. His academic studies were science based and he worked in various professions, latterly as a Science teacher. Since 1981, he has been a full-time artist with numerous successful one-man shows. Gerry lives high on the Cornish Moors and from the summer sun to winter snow, the landscape is rich and wild; an eternal inspiration for these exquisite works.
