In this hands-on class you'll work with the tools of Japanese tea preparation, chawan, chasen, and chashaku, and learn to prepare both usucha and a matcha latte. Every guest whisks their own bowl and tastes as they go. No experience needed. This introductory class is built for anyone curious about Japanese tea and looking for a first, proper introduction. ESTE is a San Diego-based business built around one idea: that great tea deserves to be understood and enjoyed.
