Roger Landault Dressing Table for Regy, France, 1960s
Elegant French modernist dressing table designed by Roger Landault and produced by Regy during the 1960s. The cabinet combines warm wood veneer with distinctive ochre-coloured upholstered fronts and sculptural wooden handles. A hinged upper section opens to reveal a large integrated mirror and a practical dressing surface. Three spacious drawers and a side cabinet provide generous storage. The slender metal legs with brass-coloured feet give the substantial cabinet a light and refined appearance. A rare and highly decorative example of post-war French design. The dressing table remains in good vintage condition with visible wear, marks and discolouration to the original upholstered fronts, consistent with age and use.
