Elm - Character Burr Boards

Stylish kiln-dried elm character burr boards sourced from a felled tree on the South Circular Road in London. Board A Beautiful elm character board featuring medium pip, burr, wavy grain patterns and striking dark brown and cream colouring. The board has a small amount of ingrown bark, along with some natural shakes and splits that add to its rustic charm. There are a few old woodworm holes confined to the bark, along with small areas of soft, rotten wood on the back. The board has mostly straight edges, with a section of natural live edge along the top and offers two working faces. Board B Beautiful elm character board featuring medium pip, burr, wavy grain patterns and distinctive dark brown, cream and silver colouring. As with Board A, it has a small amount of ingrown bark, natural shakes and splits, plus a few old woodworm holes confined to the bark. There are also small areas of soft, rotten wood on the back. Board B has a low area on the reverse which can be easily sanded out, with two working faces, one live edge and one straighter edge, this fantastic elm board would make a lovely shelf.
