The Battle of Bosworth Field, 1485

A splendid poster map, The Battle of Bosworth Field, 1485, researched, designed and drawn by Peter J. Corbett, published by Leicestershire County Council in 1977. The excellent design depicts ‘the heraldry of the opposing forces’ and the routes which the various armies took to arrive at Bosworth Field. This was the battle, of course, that established the Tudor dynasty of Henry VII and deposed Richard III. A higher resolution image is available for viewing on request.
