OFFSET RACK DROP What is this? This is R&R Products Billet Steering Rack Clamp that has been combined with the Munji Offset Rack Drop to create a product that combines Steering Geometry Correction with Steering Rack Reinforcement. What are the benefits? The solid bushes and clamp are offset down, dropping the rack 8mm and strengthening the steering system. Dropping the rack down helps reduce the bump steer by bringing the steering rack ends more parallel to the lower control arms. This also allows a small increase in droop and rack end life. The factory rubber bushes and clamps wear and soften over time, which results in the steering rack flexing and cracking along the join. By hard mounting the rack, the flex is reduced and rack is strengthened. We have not noticed any major increase in vibrations or steering feedback by doing this.
