Chateau Canon is located at the top of the Saint Emilion plateau. In 1760, Jacques Kanon purchased the original 13 ha and expanded the vineyards, including the construction of a chateau. In 1996, the property changed control to be owned by famed fashion company Chanel. Chateau Canon has gone thru major improvements and renovation at the property, lead by John Kolasa, who also over saw Chanel's other property in Margaux, Chateau Rauzan-Segla.
