Description The 3D Summer Daybreak Edition is a collection of nine custom 3D-printed versions of the Fuzz One. I came up with three cool colorways for this edition and am excited to offer these! Fuzz One is the result of years of obsession and expands on the classic 60's fuzz to bring you thick, singing fuzz with amazing clean-up from your guitar's volume knob. Go from crystal clean, to gritty crunch, all the way to soaring saxophones and violin-like sustain—all from your guitar's controls. Besides Fuzz and Volume controls, the Input control lets you dial back the input sensitivity to tighten up the response and work great with wahs and humbuckers. The Bias control lets you to dial in the perfect fuzz—from full, liquid sustain all the way down to spitty, gated fuzz tones with a velcro edge. The controls have been optimized to have a wide range of usable settings. Works great as a fuzz into a clean amp as well as a boost drive into an overdriven amp — especially when running on 18-volts. Awesome with single coils or humbuckers. And the circuit doesn't mask your guitar's character thanks to careful tuning and premium parts—particularly the capacitors—each one carefully chosen for the best response in its position in the circuit. The no-compromise design includes an LED-defeat switch which disables the indicator LED for the absolute best tone and response—it makes a difference! You'll notice the soundstage becomes more 3D, the notes bloom more, and the picking feel is more responsive to your touch when the LED is disabled. Technical details Utilizes three BC107A silicon transistors in a unique arrangement—two in the classic fuzz face topology followed by a custom output stage that provides the final tone shaping and a low output impedance at any output level so Fuzz One will work consistently with any pedal after it. BC107As are a low gain silicon transistor chosen for their ability to strike that sweet spot between the edge and punch of silicon and the warmth and chewiness of germanium.
