To help date this piece, three pinhole marks are present on the back cupped edge. In a large slightly off-centered triangular form, these are very likely kiln stilt or spur marks from the making of the pottery. Condition: Used. Authentic period aging and use in the form of all-over crazing, utensils marks, rubs, and/or scratches on face, edges and bottom. Some roughness around rim. Due to the cobalt color, not easily seen until up close and/or turned towards light source, although they are present. Raised clay particles from the making.
