Hunt 101

The Hunt 101 is a highly sought-after nib for practicing Copperplate and Spencerian. With superb flexibility and sharpness, it creates exquisite line variation ranging from delicate hairlines to striking swells. Some rough paper may cause minor snags, but it handles light textures with ease. This durable and long-lasting nib is not ideal for inexperienced calligraphers, but makes for great practice once you have some familiarity. It is part of our Copperplate Sampler and measures 32mm in length and 5.5mm in width.
