8" Mini Statue with Log This miniature statue of Servant of God Charlene Richard, affectionately known as the “Little Cajun Saint,” captures the simplicity and humility of the young Louisiana girl whose extraordinary faith continues to inspire generations. Charlene died at only 12 years old in 1959 after being diagnosed with acute lymphatic leukemia. During her final days, she became known for offering her suffering and prayers for others. The sculpture portrays Charlene as she might have appeared in everyday life—a young Cajun girl seated quietly, dressed modestly, with softly curled hair and a small cross resting over her heart. In her hands she holds a Holy Bible, a symbol of the faith that became central to her remarkable story.
