Seeed Studio XIAO nRF52840 Sense Plus

Seeed Studio XIAO nRF52840 Sense Plus combines the onboard IMU and microphone of the XIAO nRF52840 Sense with the expanded I/O of the Plus design, adding 9 extra SMD castellation pins on an updated backside layout. It's built for advanced embedded machine learning and AIoT projects that need both onboard sensing and more available GPIO. Onboard Sensors for Embedded ML An integrated 6-axis IMU and PDM microphone provide motion sensing and audio input straight out of the box, well suited to wearable devices and compact ML applications without extra wiring. Expanded I/O for Advanced Builds The Plus variant offers 20 GPIOs in total, up from 11 on the standard Sense board, via 9 additional 1.27mm pitch SMD castellation pins. This makes it a better fit for advanced Bluetooth and sensing projects that need more digital I/O through board-to-board soldering, while the backside layout, including aligned battery and debugger pads, stays consistent with future XIAO expansion boards. Wireless Connectivity and Low Power Design Bluetooth Low Energy 5.4 with a built-in antenna and NFC support carry over from the standard Sense board, along with the same efficient power management, including 5 μA deep sleep consumption and integrated Li-ion battery charging. Classic XIAO Form Factor Despite the extra I/O and onboard sensors, the board keeps the familiar 21 x 17.8mm XIAO footprint with 2.54mm pin headers and single-sided mounting, and remains natively compatible with the full range of XIAO accessory add-ons.
