Music - Nanba Town

Launch 7 songs move quickly from the 1970s to the 2010s and beyond. Roman wrote the song Nanba Town, in Nanba, China. Early in the morning he would walk up a very long set of stairs from the town center to what is essentially a mountain top. He would then walk his way down a much longer road, on a series of S-turns and bends. That morning there was cloud on the mountain that looked like smoke. There was a slash-and-burn crop fire under control that sent flames high into the sky. He found some gear in a friend’s band room and the song developed from there. A quiet, hard walk up of flight of steps to an epic, mountain scene to a violent fire. Listen to the track:
