Baker Egg Thunderegg Geode

Glittering golden yellow and red Quartz crystals can be found inside this large Thunderegg from New Mexico. Whether you call them Baker Eggs, Thundereggs, Geodes, or Lithophysae, these crystal treasures from New Mexico pack a crystalline punch! Mined back in the early 1990’s, these fun rock formations were found at the Baker Egg Mine at Baker Ranch in Luna County, New Mexico. With a mix of sparkling Quartz and Agate banding there’s something truly special about these stones! The front of this piece has been cut and polished to a high gloss finish, with the sides and back left in its bubbly, raw and natural state.
