Avinyo Petillant Blanc

This springy, refreshing wine is the traditional quaffer of the Penedès region of Catalonia, the home of Cava. Petillant is a vi d’agulla, the Catalan name for ‘prickly wine’, and the bubbles are created by a secondary fermentation in the tank before bottling. This blend of 80% Petit Grain Muscat and 20% Macabeu presents with white flowers, stone fruit, apple and citrus peel on the nose and palate with an incredibly delicate, soft bubble so it finishes clean. On the bottle, they say “Drink with everything” and we agree.
