A clear, well-lit photo with the subjects' faces visible works best both black-and-white and color photos look good in the polaroid frame. Close-up or medium-distance shots translate more clearly at candle-label size than very wide or busy group photos. Can I write any message I want, or do I have to choose from a list? You write your own message, there's no fixed list. Short, heartfelt phrases like "I love you Mom" work well given the size of the text area; a sentence or two is the right length. Can I return or exchange a personalized photo candle? Because each candle is made with your photo and message, it can't be returned for a change of mind.
