Honey Brook Birdcage Awl
The birdcage awl, used to start and ream holes, is an essential piece of a traditional hand tool woodworker's kit. I drew inspiration for the handles on the Honey Brook Birdcage Awl from classic vintage tools in my shop. I designed the size and shape of the handle to maximize both comfort and control. Every hand I make is hand-turned to order with the use of CNC machines or lathe duplicators. The Honey Brook Birdcage Awl features: A hand-turned handle from your choice of premium domestic or exotic hardwoods; A heat-treated steel blade and brass ferrule; and Traditional hand-mixed shellac followed by Alfie Shine hard wax. After inspection, I hand-stamp each tool with my maker's mark prior to delivery. I stand behind every tool that leaves my shop with a simple unconditional guarantee. If you're not completely satisfied contact me for a replacement or full refund. The Honey Brook Birdcage Awl is a tool that will last a lifetime and you'll be proud to pass it on to the next generation of artisans in your family!
