Our shipping cartons carry the 20 PAP recycling mark and come from a certified mixed-source supply chain 🔬 Independently Lab Tested – Tested to EU RoHS substance limits for heavy metals and phthalates CUTTING: Some cutting machines (Cricut/Silhouette) may find it difficult reading your registration marks when holographic laminate is applied to your materials. We recommend testing a single sheet before purchasing multiple sheets. Using a matte tape over the registration marks may help your machine with reading them. You can cut down your sheets so that they sit inside of your registration marks/area. Instructions for Use By Hand: Peel away a small section of backing sheet at the top of the laminate. Lay flat and stick this section to your media of choice. Pull away the backing sheet whilst using a squeegee, ruler or large flat object to push the laminate down flat. By Laminator: Set your laminating machine to cold setting before again peeling away a small section of backing sheet at the top of the laminate. Lay flat and stick the section to your media of choice. Put this section into your laminator. Then pull away the backing sheet as your media is fed through the cold rollers of your laminator. Note: The more pressure you are able to apply the cleaner the finish of the gloss. Apply this pressure with a soft instrument or rolling machine to reduce scratches on the final look. FAQs Q: Is this laminate recyclable? A: The film is polypropylene. On the Stars pattern the liner is polypropylene too, so the whole sheet is one polymer. Where a polypropylene laminate is applied to a polypropylene item it belongs to the same polymer family as the item and is compatible with that item’s recycling stream. On other materials, treat it as a contaminant and remove before recycling where practical. Oil Spill uses a paper liner, which is handled by dedicated liner recycling services rather than household paper collections.
