Glass Bead Bracelet

Hand-crafted by Cedar Creek Gallery studio artist Lisa Oakley, this stunning bracelet features intricately designed glass beads made on-site using a molten glass bead-pulling technique. It is available in two sizes: The medium bracelet is adjustable from 7.5" - 8" The large bracelet is adjustable from 8" - 8.5" Because the handmade glass beads have volume, order slightly larger than your normal bracelet size for a good fit. The process of creating handmade glass bead jewelry is long and exacting! First, Lisa gathers molten glass on the end of a long pipe and adds colored glass in layers. Next, she blows air through the glass, creating a hole in the bead. Then a second pipe is attached to the glass, and Lisa and her assistant stretch the glass between them into a long cane, reaching between 40 and 50 feet long.
