Integrated Three-Way Speaker Design Unlike a conventional two-way outdoor speaker, the BQ9 uses separate drivers for high, midrange and low frequencies. This allows the BQ9 to connect to a compatible conventional amplifier without needing an external active crossover. Its carefully tuned enclosure controls the driver’s movement and minimises unwanted distortion. For a traditional stereo system, two BQ9 speakers can be assigned to separate left and right channels.
