Mint Ibanez RGD2127FX - Chameleon Flat

The Ibanez RGD2127FX is a seven-string solid-body electric guitar from the RGD series, introduced in 2013. Built in Japan by FujiGen, it was released as part of Ibanez’s upscale Prestige lineup. The RGD series takes the familiar RG design and adds distinctive bevels along the body edges and horns, while its extended 26.5" scale length is designed specifically for lower tunings and extended-range playing. The RGD2127FX features a basswood body paired with a titanium-reinforced maple and wenge neck. Its 24-fret rosewood fingerboard is finished with subtle white dot inlays. The guitar comes equipped with Ibanez V77 Custom and V87 Custom humbucking pickups, delivering a powerful and articulate tone suited for modern high-gain applications. Hardware includes an Ibanez Tight-End R-7 fixed bridge, Graph Tech TUSQ nut, and Gotoh tuning machines, providing solid tuning stability and reliable performance. The RGD2127Z is a closely related model that shares much of the same platform but features a tremolo bridge instead of the fixed bridge found on the RGD2127FX.
