The Kennametal T159-VP 50 mm is a BAZOOKA™ venturi blast nozzle with a wide entry and a wear-resistant tungsten carbide liner. The nozzle features a robust polyurethane jacket and a 50 mm aluminium thread. The combination of the 32 mm (1-1/4") wide entry and the extra-wide exit produces a blast pattern that can be up to 60% larger than that of a standard long venturi blast nozzle. This allows large surfaces to be treated more quickly and evenly. The T159-VP 50 mm is designed for use with a blast hose with an internal diameter of 32 mm (1-1/4") and is particularly suitable for large-scale surface preparation of steel structures, ships, tanks and industrial installations. The tungsten carbide liner provides high wear resistance and robust durability when used with iron silicate, aluminium silicate and standard steel abrasives. Where weight reduction is important, the SN159-VP 50 mm with a BP200 SiAlON liner provides a lighter alternative with the same BAZOOKA™ shape.
