Cribbage
Cribbage was invented in England in the 1630s, and has become a popular card game throughout the world. Though there are many variations (especially in the game board) the core rules are universal. Through a balance of chance and clever card play, players gain points through combinations of cards played in three phases. The dealer also plays a second hand (called the "Crib") on their turn made up of discards from their opponent(s). Much of the strategy is in calculating which cards to discard into this extra hand. The NewVenture board is based on the original 15th century design with 61 holes, and can be played by 2, 3, or 4 players. Made in USA. Includes board, pegs and a deck of poker cards.
