THE MAGNUM OPUS 2+1 Powerbroker TwinFin Set NVS in sleek foiled solid fiberglass in a collab with @nakedvikingsurf Front Fins Back Fin Trailer Height: 5.44" / 138 mm Height: 4.1" / 104 mm Base: 5.04" / 128 mm Base: 3.93" / 100 mm Area: 20.78"2 / 134 cm2 Area: 12.33"2 / 79.54 cm2 These templates have been a long time in the making, and we are very excited that these fins have gone from an idea, to prototype, to a reality. The new fiberglass sleek foiled "Magnum Opus" 5 1/8" twin fin base with smaller trailer fin (which is larger than the standard 2+1 trailer) - a power surfer's dream 2+1 setup. Created specifically for the Magnum Opus and Trascal board models as seen here with Wardo and Rozsa…two of surfing’s true iconoclasts of pure style and power. This setup works amazing with a wide variety of fishes and twinnies and hybrid type shapes. Designed to glide like a twin, and create more drive off the rail than a thruster. The trailer fin being reduced in size from a thruster template, yet still larger than a typical trailer, gives the board better hold through fully committed rail turns. I generally move the front fins back and the trailer fin forward from standard tri-fin locations…but with these new templates, it enables me to go back to my usual thruster fin placement, letting the water breathe more through the fin cluster while creating hold better than most 2+1 setup-ups. Also a great fin for the MonstaChief models and bigger guy boards, as well as for the Zipstitch, Sputnik, Twinstitch, Pavarotti and Pavote high performance groveller models. Here’s to artistry, innovation and the creation of a new kind of brush for a fresh new canvas.
