Cranes de Papel
Description This is a super shimmery cool silver/blue that is opaque in two coats. It’s demure enough for day wear but exquisite enough for a fancy dinner, sedate enough for a nail art base but interesting enough to be a fast mani you keep for a few days! Tell Me More! In the traditional list of anniversary gifts, paper is the one that starts the celebrations. Paper is so versatile. It can be used to hold words, memories, stories, facts, and so many more things. It can be ripped, cut, folded, burned and more. The symbol of the paper crane is historically rooted in Japanese culture as a symbol of longevity, good health, fortune, and peace. Many moons ago when I was getting married my soul mate created 1000 paper cranes. She created them in different colors, and even in different sizes. To this day I keep those cranes as a reminder of a wish that I had the moment I saw her. To be by her side and to love her always. Why did we create this polish in this specific shade of blue? The lines in paper used primarily for scholastic purposes is something that iconically reminds me of the days I was given assignments to write in school. So we created this shade so that as you wear it and enjoy it, you may write a new memory. Maybe you'll share it, and maybe it's just meant for you. Either way, it's a blank piece of paper just waiting for your words to fill the pages. Additional Info & Disclaimers We suggest 2-3 coats to get to full opaqueness and for the shimmer to really shine. Thicker Than a Bowl of Oatmeal is a great top coat to compliment that shiny look, or try using our Matte It Up Top Coat to create a smooth matte finish that'll give a look of paper lines as you remember.
