General Information about Purolite SGC650H: Purolite Puropack SGC650H is a high-performance strong acid cation exchange resin designed for demanding demineralization and condensate polishing applications. Recommened Operating Conditions Purolite SGC650H: During up-flow backwash, the resin bed should expand in volume by 50 to 70% for at least 10 to 15 minutes. This process will release particulate matter, clear the bed of bubbles and voids, and reclassify the resin particles to ensure minimal resistance to flow. When first put into service, expanding the bed for approximately 30 minutes is usually sufficient to properly classify it.
