Little Lark IOD Paint Inlay 8x12 Pad™

Little Lark is our first 8" x 12" small-format paint inlay, designed for detailed, intimate projects. Inspired by 19th-century illustrations from Jules Michelet's The Bird, this pad features birds, nests, florals, and pastoral vignettes in a classic toile-inspired layout—brimming with charming details meant to be discovered up close. The three-color palette of sepia black, indigo, and soft green evokes vintage china, making it ideal for creating faux china-style finishes on furniture and décor. Each pad includes frames, wreaths, and borders to help you build compositions and define focal areas with creative flexibility. One of the standout qualities of paint inlays is their versatility: gently move pigment with a wet brush across vignette scenes to achieve a soft, watercolor effect. The beloved cover artwork from Michelet's book also appears in our Athenaeum foil transfer, offering coordinating design options for your projects.
