Harvest 2020 Alcohol by volume 14,5% Appellation Dão DOP, Portugal Tasting notes This deep red wine reveals remarkable aromatic complexity, with predominant spicy and wild notes, complemented by hints of forest and a subtle touch of pine. On the palate, it is exceptionally elegant and delicate, with firm yet smooth tannins. Characterized by a vibrant and expressive attack, it unfolds with impressive breadth, culminating in a finish of great persistence and elegance. Food Pairing Pairs beautifully with game meats, roasted goat, and lamb rack. Vinification Crafted from grapes sourced from the old vines of Quinta da Teixuga, hand-harvested into 15 kg boxes. Carefully selected by hand on a sorting table. Following destemming and gentle crushing, fermentation took place in stainless steel vats at controlled temperatures, with maceration tailored to the specific characteristics of the grapes. Vineyards Vines with an average age of 40 years old. Aging Matured for 36 months in French oak barrels, followed by an additional 6 months of bottle aging to achieve greater harmony and complexity.
