Honey Harvesting Activation

Our most popular and sweetest workshop is our honey harvesting activation. Bees and honey go hand in hand and this is a very hands-on (and sticky) workshop where you'll get to harvest honey directly from frames of honeycomb. You'll first get an introduction to bees and the important role they play in the environment and food security. We'll talk about how the bees make honey and the amazing health and wellbeing benefits of honey. Participants will get a chance to spin a honey extractor and pour their very own jar of honey to take home. There will also be a variety of different honeys to taste. Group Size: Up to 20 participants. Duration: Approximately 60 minutes.
