Patrick Bouju - Le Nouveau 2025 MAGNUM
Le Nouveau 2025 MAGNUM is a big bottle of the popular fresh red wine crafted by Justine Loiseau & Patrick Bouju of Domaine la Boheme in the Auvergne region in France. This red wine is made with Gamay grapes, which are grown in Auvergne and made into wine very quickly, using Carbonic Macetion as commonly used in Beaujolais Nouveau, and that is the style of this wine, just with Gamay from Auvergne. Its a wine made fast, meant to deliver fresh, fruity aspects and a juicy glou glou mouthfeel, rather than a complex wine best for aging. Drinking in March 2026 (it was released in late 2025) you can expect lively green flickers amongst concentrated blackcurrant, clove, red apple, vanilla essence and a soft peppery touch amongst mild caressing tannins that give it some edge - despite its juicy glouglou approach. Seriously awesome value!
