Some things cannot be condensed. They have to be emptied out completely. Tout Dire is a painting that began as writing and never stopped. Across a deep, light-absorbing black, line after line of French spills forward in white, blue, and violet, words overlapping words, thoughts interrupting thoughts, until the canvas holds what no single sentence ever could. You can read it and still not finish it. That is the point. Fragments surface as you look closer: l'inhumanité, le silence, nos blessures, tu me manques, la mémoire, la fragilité, la dignité. Inhumanity. Silence. Our wounds. I miss you. Memory. Fragility. Dignity. The full text beneath resists easy reading, the way grief does, the way anything that matters does. The colours shift like atmosphere, cool blue breaking through the dark at the centre, violet pressing in at the edges, as if the writing itself generates its own light. This is what it looks like when you stop editing yourself and just say it all.
