Indigo Dying Class 5/9 at 5pm $65
Indigo has a long history in the Lowcountry, prior to the revolutionary war it was the second largest cash crop of the colony. The workshop will focus on the Japanese style of Indigo dyeing fabrics, Shibori. You will be introduced to various patterns and instructed in producing your own linens. We will dye all of our creations with indigo during the workshop and you will be able to see your creation come to life. You will leave the workshop with your choice of 4 cotton napkins or 2 cotton tea towels.
