Learn to knit socks on DPNs! With an easy roll-top ankle, the Rose City Roller socks are perfect for summer knitting and wearing. These socks are knit from the top down, with a tradition heel flap and heel turn and three size options. It’s a great pattern for a beginner sock knitter. This sock is perfect for super bright, variegated yarns, they add a fun pop of color to any summer outfit! Note: This class will meet three times. Students must be able to attend all three class dates: - Saturday, May 2nd - 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM - Saturday, May 9th - 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM - Saturday, May 16th - 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM We recommend students knit both socks simultaneously on two sets of needles. By the end of the class, you'll have a pair of socks! Class Level: Intermediate - Student must be able to knit in the round and be comfortable with using DPNs. Age Requirement: 12 years and older Class Fee: $60 (3-part class, 6 hours total) Materials Required: - 1 skein of fingering weight sock yarn. We recommend Universal Yarn's Saunter bamboo sock yarn. - US Size 1 Double Point Needles - 2 sets if you would like to make both socks simultaneously - 2 stitch markers Students receive 10% off all class materials!
