This 1970 Seiko REF: 6139-6000 is the perfect watch for those looking to get into vintage chronographs. This watch features a stunning deep marine blue Water-Proof variant dial that is paired with aged lumed indices and hands. Surrounding the dial is an inner rotating bezel. Powering this watch is the iconic Seiko 6139A 21-jewel automatic chronograph which was the first commercially available automatic chronograph in the world. This movement also offers a day-date in both English & Kanji with a quick-set by pressing in the crown. Housing this watch is a notched variant stainless steel cushion case that sits on the wrist comfortably. Note: The dial, crystal, bezel, movement, case, and hands are original to the watch. Size: 41mm diameter, 13mm height, 19mm lug width. Condition: This watch is in phenomenal condition for its species, most tend to be full of wear. The only major wear is some pitting on the case. Movement condition: The movement was serviced in June of 2023 and is currently running at within 15 seconds per day, amplitude of 230-240 and a beat error of 0.3MS. The chronograph is fully functional and works without issue. This watch comes with a 90 day limited mechanical warranty. Warranty does not cover damage inflicted post delivery.
