Stair adapters accommodate typical stair angles with spacing layouts based on approximately 5-1/2" on-center placement . Maximum baluster spacing must not exceed 4" to meet standard code requirements. Use a standard drill/driver with low to medium torque settings. Do not use an impact driver, as overtightening may damage connectors and reduce product lifespan.
