Apex Series Antimicrobial Filter $50 2″ Antimicrobial Filter The Antimicrobial Filter is the first stage of filtration for the AIRBOX Apex Series when the added layer of Advanced Molecular Adsorbent filtration is attached. The Antimicrobial Filter captures and inhibits the growth of microbes in the AirBox system. These microbes irritate our lungs at best and can make us extremely sick at worst. This filter is treated with the Microban Aegis Microbe Shield®, which works 24/7 to deactivate microbes and prolong the life of the Apex Series air purifier. The Antimicrobial Filter extends the life of other filters within the system by removing particles from the air moving through the system. We recommend changing the Antimicrobial Filter every six months to extend the life of your filtration system.
