Our Stringer Rocker mirrors that of our LTD, however, we added significant rocker to the rails and vertical rail height to accommodate pitch in rough waters and displacement of larger paddlers. This added rail rocker and height allows the board to keep most of its straight line speed in flat water while allowing the board to lift up and stay above the water during rough seas. Due to the design of the hull, the Joy is also perfectly suited to carry heavier sup paddlers efficiently in both flat water and open ocean conditions.
