Handcrafted in Woodstock, Vermont, this Sugar and Creamer set is great for coffee and tea service—or simply elevating your morning routine. The small Farmer’s Pitcher has an easy-pour spout for milk, cream and more. The Sugar Jar stores loose or cubed sugar and keeps it fresh thanks to a knobbed lid. Farmhouse Pottery’s Silo Collection, featuring a white glaze and rustic base, is a tribute to the silos (and their heritage and craftsmanship) found throughout Vermont farmlands. Farmhouse Pottery products are handmade by artisans in their Woodstock studio—from the early stages of weighing, wedging and kneading clay to end stages of trimming, stamping, glazing and firing. All the pottery Milk Street offers begins as clay measured on an old-fashioned dial scale, before it’s hand-thrown and shaped on the wheel. The pieces rest overnight in a humidity-controlled damp room, where they dry and shrink evenly. Artisans trim, stamp and perform final shaping before glazing and firing the final product. Each piece is carefully inspected before it’s shipped off to you.
